Journey to justice
It is with great pleasure that we can report that several members of UCU at Northumbria have recently been involved with local events relating to the Journey to Justice campaign, and more events are planned.
Safety in the workplace
The university is eager for people with fancy phones to avail themselves of the SafeZone App (available for Windows phone, android and iPhone), to help ensure greater safety and security on campus. It is available here: http://www.safezoneapp.com/ It only takes a few minutes to set up. We support the adoption of this app.

Good Practice: Mental Health in the Workplace
On 5 February 2015, 90 delegates attended a TUC seminar and heard presentations from six unions (and one employer) on the subject of workplace mental health.
